Rachel Walters Steiner

Rachel Walters Steiner is a classical soprano in the San Francisco Bay Area. Equally inspired by opera and concert music, Ms. Steiner has performed as a soloist with various companies and venues around the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, including The Lamplighters, Ukiah Symphony, Jarvis Conservatory, The Green Music Center, and River Opera.

Ms. Steiner is a graduate of Sonoma State University with a B.A. in Music Education and Vocal Performance and winner of the Everett B. Person and the Marin Music Chest scholarships. At Sonoma State, she sang scenes from numerous operatic roles, including Cherubino and Carmen, as well as early music, musical theater, oratorio, and art songs. Resumé available upon request.

Ms. Steiner has studied voice with Ruth Ann Swenson and David Burnakus, and currently studies with Donna Bruno. She teaches music and resides in Sonoma County with her husband and two daughters.
